Australian Men: Male, 40-50
AUSTRALIAN MEN (DADS) (Male, 40 – 50)
Description: THIS AD IS TARGETED FOR THE AUSTRALIAN MARKET, SO WE WOULD NEED PEOPLE WITH AN AUSTRALIAN ACCENT, OR AT LEAST, PEOPLE WHO CAN IMITATE IT PERFECTLY.
I’m looking for actors that have ease with NATURAL, MINIMALISTIC ACTING and delivering dialogue. The objective of this ad is to PORTRAY RELATABLE CHARACTERS, so we want to stay far away from theatrical performances.
In this film, we will show the challenges and the chaotic juggling parents deal with on a daily basis, but playing off of the busy mum or dad talking to camera style of ad in an unexpected way. This chaos will go on in the background as the mum or dad smoothly keeps talking to camera and transitions into a variety of different parents.
In terms of looks, we need average people, not models. The director would also like to see QUIRKY WARM FACES such as big eyes, rounder faces, naturally smiling mouths.
IDEALLY, OUR DAD HAS SHORT DARK HAIR- if necessary they may use wigs or dyes so if you have an Australian who fits the brief yet does not have dark hair please still suggest
The parents will have to perform many tasks on set, so having a good amount of dexterity with their hands is a plus.

Summary: I am looking for 6-7 Australian actors and 1 child (child does NOT have to be Australian). The adults will be delivering a line straight to camera.
