Has 2 kids, wife and is from east London. He essentially owns the firm (painting). Loves his football and cricket, old school fella, takes his work seriously, ideally character would wear glasses. Loves reading the paper still but has an iPhone11, type of guy.

Young apprentice – 18-24: Male, aged 18 to 24
Young guy is a Rodney from only fools and horses, in the fact he’s the understudy, but probably more book smart than his boss but practically he’s not all there. 16-24 as he’s an apprentice. He’s over keen and a bit annoying with it.

2nd Lead Builder – 20’s-30’s: Male, aged 23 to 34
This Robbie from Eastenders with Well’ard the dog, type of character. Quite goofy/tall if possible. Loves a pun & jokes. He LOVES the football…watches all games even 3rd league teams…if it’s on TV he will watch it single in his late 20s/early 30s.

Job payment
£120 per day- Lead Builder will be paid more as there will be more speaking
Description
Two decorators are sitting on paint tubs, cup of tea in hand with a few biscuits…it’s clearly break time.
One lad is working away listening on…the two main characters are going on and on about ‘good performance’ & how they feel ‘contracts a really good price’ for the current market…
The wording and energy they are using, in their laddish tones, suggests they are speaking about the football…
As they rant more and more about ‘coverage up to 13sqm each time’
the lad who’s been working burst out: ‘who ya on about Marcus Rashford yeah?’
The two decorators burst out laughing as they pull up a tub.
